If your travel spans airlines, the Business Platinum is more flexible and powerful, its transferable points, broad lounge access, and huge bonus work no matter who you fly, though at $895 it needs real use to justify past year one.
If you fly Delta specifically, the Reserve can be the better value, the companion certificate and Sky Club access can outrun the $650 for a Delta regular, and it’s built precisely for that airline. Choose by whether you want any-airline flexibility or Delta-specific perks, and note both are year-one plays unless you genuinely use their marquee benefits.
