The best earn-rate combination
If you pay rent, you're leaving points on the table without a Bilt card. The Blue card is free and earns on rent with no transaction fee, that alone makes it worth keeping forever. Obsidian adds 3x on dining or groceries.

Application and welcome-bonus rules
Bilt has no published application limit, so standard credit approval applies. The rule that matters is on earning: you must make at least five transactions per statement period to earn any points that month, and rent payments earn with no transaction fee on the Blue card.
