How to Use Amex Offers and Chase Offers
How card-linked offers work
Amex Offers and Chase Offers (and similar programs at other issuers) are deals tied to your specific card. You add an eligible offer to the card in your account or app, then spend the required amount at that merchant using that card, and the reward (a statement credit or bonus points) posts automatically. There is no coupon to show; the card does the work. Offers are targeted, so yours differ from someone else.
Add them and check often
The catch is you must add an offer before you use it, and they expire, so it pays to scan your offers in the app regularly and add every one that fits your spending. Many people add them all in a few taps. Because they are personalized, your account is the only place to see what you have, so make checking offers a habit before big purchases.
Stack with portals and categories
Card-linked offers shine because they stack: an Amex Offer or Chase Offer combines with a shopping portal and your card category bonus on the same purchase. You generally cannot combine two card-linked offers on one transaction, but layering one offer with a portal and the right card is the core of a reward stack.
