If you run a business and travel enough to use lounges and work the credits, the Business Platinum can pay off, 5x on flights, broad lounge access, and a large credit stack, backed by an enormous welcome bonus. But like all $895 cards, it’s a year-one play unless you genuinely use the perks all year.
If you stay at Hilton, the Surpass delivers far more usable value per dollar, its free night and Gold status can beat the $150 fee outright.
