The Mastercard tiers
Mastercard has three main consumer tiers: standard Mastercard, World Mastercard, and World Elite Mastercard at the top. World Elite can carry the strongest benefit set, which historically has included things like cell phone protection, monthly Lyft and DoorDash credits, concierge, and access to Priceless experiences and offers.
Benefits vary by issuer
As with Visa tiers, Mastercard sets what a World Elite card can offer, but the issuing bank picks which benefits to include. So one World Elite card may have cell phone protection and credits while another has very little. Treat the tier as a signal that perks may exist, then verify them on the specific card.
How to use them
