Our review
The Wayfair Mastercard pays 7% back in rewards across Wayfair, AllModern, Birch Lane, Joss & Main, and Perigold, plus 3% at grocery stores, 2% on online purchases, and 1% everywhere else, with no annual fee. For anyone furnishing a home, 7% on furniture adds up fast.
The 3% grocery rate is better than most store cards offer, so it can earn its keep between furniture orders. All of it comes back as Wayfair Reward Dollars, though, so it only makes sense if you will keep buying from Wayfair's family of brands.
Think twice if: you buy from Wayfair once in a while, since every reward is a Wayfair Reward Dollar that only spends there.
Our 4.7 out of 10 rating
Each score weighs the rewards rate, value after the annual fee, welcome offer, points flexibility, and perks, with every point valued at a flat 1 cent. This is our editorial assessment to help you compare cards, not a guarantee of approval or of the value you will get.

The welcome bonus

First-year value vs ongoing value
| Welcome bonus | $40 off your first Wayfair order of $100 or more |
| To earn it | first qualifying order (offer ends February 1, 2027) |
| Est. first-year value* | $452 |
| Est. ongoing value / yr* | $412 |
The welcome bonus makes year one the high point: roughly $452 in value once you count the bonus, this card’s rewards, and its credits, minus the no fee. After that, the honest figure is about $412 a year, so judge whether it earns its keep on the ongoing number, not the first-year headline.
